| Where the Two Oceans Meet and the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia! |
The historic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse at Augusta is situated at the tip of a spectacular peninsula where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet - the most south-western point of Australia.
This famous landmark was constructed from local limestone in 1895 and is still a vital working lighthouse for vessels navigating the treacherous cape. As the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is a must-see attraction in the Margaret River Wine Region
During the whale watching season (June to August) watch out for the mighty creatures frolicking as they make their way around the cape.
