HAMELIN BAY Wines are grown in one of Margaret Rivers most beautiful valleys looking north over the vineyard and a two and a half hectare lake. Also rolling green hills of pasture and remnant forest of the giant karri and marri trees.
The climate is equable due to the proximity of the Southern Ocean 15 kilometres south at Flinders Bay and the Indian Ocean eight kilometres west at Hamelin Bay. On calm Autumn days the breakers at Hamelin Bay whisper their message to ripen quickly before the winter storms arrive.
THE FAMILY CREST is a two legged dragon called a WYVERN-this is Hamelin Bays guarantee of quality. The Latin on the label is our motto "to be rather than seem to be" a wine of distinction.

Directions: Take the Bussell Highway south from Margaret River to Karridale, turn east at Brockman Highway for two kilometres and follow the winery sign north to the vineyard entrance. |
