Boranup Gallery presents the skill & works of Australias leading designer/makers and artists, and pride in the incredible variety and beauty of the artworks within. Set in the majestic Boranup Karri Forest, it is a must see when visiting Margaret River.

On entering the gallery you are sure to have your senses overwhelmed with the visual and tactile delights held within the towering rammed earth walls. Everything on show is extraordinary in quality and craftsmanship and you are sure to be held mesmerised by the diverse range of delectable artworks on display.

The gallery has a significant collection of paintings, furniture, sculpture, blown and slumped glass, carvings, photography, prints & more. There is sure to be something that tantalises the taste buds and captivates the imagination.

Purpose built in 1989 by James and Anne Howieson, the gallery was originally designed to house James Boranup Heirloom Furniture, crafted from Western Australian native hardwood timbers & burls...which is still today crafted on site. Today sees the workshop occupied by 4 craftsmen, carefully crafting the exclusive furniture found only at Boranup Gallery. Curated by GiNelle Stammers since 1998 her eclectic tastes come together to produce one of the greatest attractions Margaret River has to offer.
