Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate ... and FREE chocolate tastings! The Margaret River Chocolate Company is a must-visit attraction when you're visiting the region. Watch professional Chocolatiers handcraft award-winning chocolates through the Chocolate Viewing Window or enjoy a coffee and home-made cake, lunch or a gelato in the Chocolate Cafe and outdoor nature playgroup.
Affectionately known as 'The Chocolate Factory', The Margaret River Chocolate Company is one of Western Australia's most popular tourist attractions, established more than 20 years ago as the first of its kind in the region and now with manufacturing, sales and cafe facilities in Margaret River and the Swan Valley and a concept store in the heart of the Perth CBD.

The original Margaret River factory is located on a peaceful and picturesque rural property just 20 minutes from Margaret River and Busselton with plenty of parking. It provides a fascinating insight into the world of chocolate, and visitors are treated to free chocolate tastings, interactive displays, viewing windows to watch the chocolate products being made and a friendly atmosphere.

A wealth of information on all aspects of chocolate is available, plus both factories sell a huge, mouth-watering range of chocolate bars, chocolate-coated delights, hand made truffles, novelty chocolates, chocolate body products, chocolate sauce, cookies, ice-cream, chocolate milk and a variety of chocolate cakes. There's something for everyone, with well over 100 different products on offer!

The range of chocolates is always being refreshed so return visits are a must!

The Chocolate Cafe is the perfect spot for relaxed indoor and outdoor dining with tasty breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea options. The menu features fresh produce from the organic vegetable garden, orchard and olive grove located on the farm. All cakes in the cafe are made in-house and there's usually between 10 and 15 different cakes to choose from. Indulge with a slice of Rocky Road or Cookies and Cream cheesecakes right through to gluten-free Orange and Almond cakes and of course a traditional Mudcake. Other menu favourites include croissants, wraps, chips, soup, quiche, nachos, burgers and fish & chips with kids options available. Go the whole chocolate hog with chocolate fondue for 2 or 4!

The Margaret River Chocolate Company welcomes visitors of all ages,  and their friendly staff will help you find the perfect gift or treat.

A Convenient Spot for Chocolate Lovers. This well-known location offers a wide variety of chocolates to choose from. Parking is easily accessible. The hot chocolate drink is satisfactory, and the greenery at the back offers a pleasant setting for enjoying your treats. The kids have room to move around, and clean toilets are available. Free chocolate samples are a nice touch.

A chocolate factory with a viewing gallery of how their chocolate is made. There are complimentary chocolate chips for all to sample. We bought their ice cream and it was loaded with a large scoopful of ice cream on the cone!!! The back of the factory has a large grass patch for the kiddos to run and possibly a picnic.

Anywhere that gives you free chocolate when you first come in the door it's okay by me the Chocolate Factory has an outdoor nature scape area I wouldn't quite call it a playground there's a beautiful green grass with lots of shade and picnic tables there's toilets on site and all around a nice stop for the family the prices of the chocolate are quite expensive but I guess this offsets all the free chocolate they give out
