At the end of the CowParade Margaret River public art event, the cows are all being auctioned off for the benefit of non profit charities and environmental projects. For more information and who this event is benefiting click here

The live auction was held on the 10th of July 2010 and was a fantastic night of food, drink and cows! The generosity and enthusiasm of bidders was amazing. For the results of this auction click here

The online auction is currently running at www.tradeaway.com.au There are still 22 amooooo-zing cows up for sale so make sure you check it out. The bidding is sure to be fierce. Auctions close on Monday 19th July.

CowParade charity auctions around the world have generated over $25 million and we hope that this event will make a big difference to the non profit beneficiaries of CowParade Margaret River. The auction will be held on July 10th 2010 and we hope that that those that attend will be inspired to dig deep into their pockets by the fabulous works of art and the great causes that will benefit. Some of the charities and non profit organisations which will benefit from the auction include:

Telethon is a registered children’s charitable trust dedicated to raising funds to improve the lives of children and young people throughout Western Australia.

Give me Five for Kids is a community based appeal that raises money for Children’s Wards and Children’s services at local hospitals. The key to the appeal’s success is that money raised locally is spent locally.
 
Starlight Foundation is an Australian children’s charity that aims to brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children, and their families, throughout Australia.
 
Jewel and Lake Cave Conservation Projects have been established to preserve, protect and maintain two iconic caves Margaret River region.

Arts Margaret River is Margaret River’s local community arts and events organisation. Run by volunteers and it relies on the patronage and support of the community and sponsors to bring events and art to the region.
