If you don’t have your own transport there several ways options to enable you to experience the diverse attractions of the Margaret River Region.
Beach Bus
During the summer school holiday period, a beach bus operates from Margaret River to the famous Surfers Point in Prevelly. The bus travels from the Margaret River bus stop on Charles West Avenue, via Wallcliffe Road and can be hailed anywhere along this route. The journey takes around 15 minutes and ends at Surfers Point (a stop at the picturesque swimming beach Gnarabup is also available on request). From Surfers Point, you can walk along the cycle path to the Margaret River Mouth where lifeguards are on duty during the school holidays.
School students travel at the Rotary subsidized fare of $1.00 per trip. Otherwise, the cost is $4 per trip. Departure times are listed below:
