The Howling Wolves label comes from a blues singer the owners liked called Howling Wolf
They were unable to use this name as there is a commune called Wolf in the Moselle area of Germany and so it is registered as an Appellation, as is Margaret River,so the name was made into the plural Wolves

The fruit for both Harmans and Howling Wolves comes from 8 vineyards-all but one in the Margaret River area. Riesling is sourced from the Pemberton area
