The 49th Festival of Busselton is set to be action packed, with a range of different events planned over the two weeks. A deckchair cinema in Dunsborough will start the Festival on Tuesday, January 8 and the last official event will be the closing night fireworks and concert on Saturday January 19.

Festival highlights include:

• Young Ambassador competition.
• The sail training ship Leeuwin will be visiting Busselton for four days over the first weekend of the festival.
• Pirates Competition on Saturday January 12.
• Free deckchair cinemas.
• A skydiving display, marine flare display and aerial firefighting demonstration is planned to follow the Children’s Treasure Hunt on the beach in front of the Equinox Cafe on Saturday January 19.
  

The closing night concert on Saturday January 19, promises to be a highlight with the announcement of the Young Ambassador winners and a fireworks display to close the festival.
