Down South MTB Festival

The Down South MTB festival celebrates mountain biking in the Margaret River Region over 2 days of competitive & recreational mountain bike events.

The Down South MTB Festival is a local family friendly club run event, hosted by MRORCA, (The Margaret River of Road Association), the Cape Mountain Bikers and the Dunsborough Cycle Club. Traditionally held over the June long weekend it hosts 2 rounds of the state cross country Mountain Bike race series. With more than 500 participants expected to compete over the weekend ranging from elite cross-country mountain bikers to kids having a great time in the U9’s race.

Taking in some of WA’s newest and most technically challenging trails within the Margaret River and Dunsborough MTB parks. Both the Margaret river and Dunsborough courses are designed to challenge your bike handling skills and test your strength, stamina and mental grit.

Action kicks off in Dunsborough on Sat June 3 and in Margaret River on Sunday the 4th, Once again, this great MTB weekend promises to deliver a unique outdoor adventure experience for all off the family.
