Drawing from Nature with Hive Artist Caro Bannister (8 – 14 years)

In this two-hour workshop participants will learn how to look closely at natural objects.

Participants will explore line qualities; thickness and pressure, as well as various mark-making techniques, shade and texture using a range of drawing materials.

Afterwards, participants will choose sections of drawing and explore abstracting their favourite part to develop it into a vibrant acrylic painting.

All materials supplied.
