Side Effects of Happiness is a new immersive and interactive poetry installation and 15 minute live performance experience by regional multi-disciplinary artist Yael Harris.

The project reveals the artist’s most inner reflections about subjects such as her Munchies habit and its side effects, ‘husband substitutes’, weight gain after menopause, body image and fantasies.

Side Effects of Happiness will be performed live on 14 & 15 May at 1.30pm in the Readers & Writers Room at  Margaret River HEART and the interactive installation will be on display 9-12 May and 16-20 May at at the Arts Margaret River gallery, MRCC, Tunbridge Street.

The project is one of 3 events included in Fringe Word, an exciting new fringe arts program created by the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival .
