Jack and the beanstalk | A pantomime
Description
Young Jack, his ‘daft-as-a-brush’ brother Silly Simon and his long suffering mother, Dame Trott, live in a tiny cottage in the shadow of the terrible giant, Blunderbore.
With the rent overdue, they have no choice but to sell their beloved family pet, Pat the Cow. After tricking the Trotts into selling her for a bag of worthless beans, the villainous giant’s henchman, Fleshcreep, kidnaps the Princess for his master’s supper. Will Jack be able to rescue Pat and Princess Jill in time? Perhaps those beans aren’t as worthless as they first seemed… Written by Tom Whalley and directed by Rebecca Simmonds, this GIANT adventure is the pantomime you’ve BEAN waiting for.
Presented by Margaret River Theatre Group.
