Native Series Collaboration Dinner

With the winter doldrums behind us, and the launch of Native Series 5 landing on the same date, we are excited to announce the re-launch of our Native Series Dinner in collaboration with West Australia’s own, and now internationally acclaimed, culinary master Paul Iskov of FERVOR, on Friday the 21st of December.

Head Chef Paul Iskov and The Beer Farmer himself Josh Thomas welcome you for an evening of dining and education. Both have a passion for this region and are lucky enough to constantly experience, and experiment with its beauty through taste. Paul and his passionate team at FERVOR are committed to working alongside the traditional custodians of the land to utilize the finest ingredients Australia naturally has to offer. We have been working closely with Paul to curate a range of beers that highlight certain native ingredients, and it’s time to now pull the final kegs from our museum, launch Native series 5, and pair them all with an exquisite, one-off special menu.

This ongoing collaboration, aptly named “The Native Series”, has not only been rewarding, but educational and has produced some seriously groundbreaking beers that really push the boundaries. Take this chance to revisit our Native Australian IPA, Barrel Aged Salt Bush Barley Wine, Quandong Sour, Strawberry Gum Stout, and taste for the first time a Desert Lime & Lemon Myrtle IPA, which will be released to the world, via Metricup and your taste buds, on the night!

The ideology behind this is to educate and promote the sustainable use of native ingredients…Therefore, you won’t see the same beer twice, and we look forward to sharing the story and highlighting the producers and ingredients that are right on our doorstep. The series, and this dinner, pay homage to the traditional custodians of our land, who have a long-lasting and innate relationship to these flavours and the season’s that allow them to flourish. Amongst this, and on show for your dining experience, we have two like-minded chefs: one of the food variety and one of the liquid kind, pushing the boundaries of sensory evaluation, and delivering a truly unique experience with distinct flavours.

Join us in this celebration as FERVOR deliver a 5-course menu carefully designed to match 5 unique beers and showcase their distinctive flavours. On this night the stage will be set for two passionate West Australians that are both pushing sensory boundaries, putting our state on a world map in terms of delivering exceptional flavours through, ethical, environmental and culturally sensitive practices, and experimentation in production.
