Portrait Painting Workshop for Beginners
Description
In celebration of The Lester Prize 2021 Touring Exhibition, Lori Pensini will be conducting a Portrait Oil Painting Workshop for beginners to portraiture at The Studio Gallery, Yallingup.
A workshop for painters with little to no previous experience with portrait oil painting, suitable for ages 16 – 100. We will go through basic facial proportions, mixing colour palette for portraits and tonal colour blocking to create facial features and depth. Students will be taken through a number of exercises, touching on colour psychology, look at the influence of colour on mood, and finish with a portrait study in oil.
Please note participants must show proof of vaccination.
Masks are required.
Morning workshop

Afternoon workshop
*1:00pm to 3:00pm
*12:45pm for a strict 1:00pm start
Cost $45 pp
A list of equipment required will be given on booking, some materials will be supplied.
