Pub Philosophy at The River
Description
Pub Philosophy Margaret River is a regular opportunity for the community to meet and discuss a range of philosophical topics, guided by experts, in an informal setting
The evening will kick off with a short lecture on the monthly topic, followed by a Q&A, and wraps with some robust guided discussion. No philosophical background is required
This month’s discussion ‘left-brained’ vs ‘right-brained’ people. While current research suggests that while nobody is wholly left- or right-brained, there are enormous differences between the two cerebral hemispheres. Perhaps the most striking difference is in the types of attention which the hemispheres pay to the world.
This is a FREE event hosted by Pub Philosophy Margaret River and Dr Andrew Milne from The University of Western Australia. The bar will be open so please join us to ponder over a pint.
