School holiday session: Nature collage art

Using found and natural materials and inspired by Jeannie Baker, create your own collage art on canvas.

Seeds, grains, leaves, spices, sticks, bark, sand and an assortment of found objects from around the farm, the forest and the beach. Arrange them in patterns or assemble an image, whatever you wish to do. An experienced facilitator will be on hand to help.

Suitable for kids aged ten and up, including teens. No experience necessary to be able to enjoy the session. Neurodiverse people and people of all abilities are welcome. The sessions are offered as drop and leave, but parents and carers are welcome to stay.

The art sessions at Gathered Organics are held on a working organic farm located on Walcliffe Road in Margaret River. As well as the community space where workshops are held, there is a farm shop and cafe; and they share the farm with a vineyard, market garden, livestock and winery.

The farm shop and cafe will be open during the session.
