Summer holiday session: Beeswax candles and candle holders

Make your own beeswax candles from 100% beeswax sheets, then try your hand at making a candle holder or two by upcycling glass jars or shaping and decorating one from air dry clay, using moulds and stamps to embellish them. All materials provided.

Suitable for kids aged nine and up. No experience necessary to be able to enjoy the session. The sessions are offered as drop and leave, although parents and carers are welcome to stay. Neurodiverse people and people of all abilities are welcome.

The sessions at Gathered Organics are held on a working organic farm located on Walcliffe Road in Margaret River. As well as the community space where workshops are held, there is a farm shop and cafe, and we share the farm with a vineyard, market garden, livestock and winery.

The farm shop and café will be open during the sessions and younger siblings can play outside at the free play stations which include soft play blocks, a sand pit with trucks and water play table.
