The Block Season masterclass | Hay Shed Hill

Wine lovers, get ready for a masterclass tasting and conversation with Hay Shed Hill’s winemaker Michael Kerrigan & sommelier Renzo Bianchini.

This session will evaluate the Block Series Wines, current and selected museum releases.

The Block Series wines are from fruit grown on several sites across Hay Shed Hill’s Wilyabrup vineyard all of which have specific attributes which make them unique. They are all original 1970s plantings, dry-grown, old vine wines. These vines produce exceptional quality wines, the best of Hay Shed Hill.

Upon arrival, Michael and Renzo will greet you under the apricot tree at the homestead with a glass of Hay Shed Hill Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir. Weather permitting, they will then take you through the vineyard to the blocks where the grapes are grown. They will show you the different vineyard blocks and explain the unique site attributes that make each wine outstanding. The vineyard tour will be followed by a seated masterclass tasting.

Light platters will be served during the masterclass.
