Watercolour Brush Lettering & Modern Calligraphy
Description
Be guided through modern calligraphy, and typographic art techniques as we use a brush lettering pen to create an expressive art print.
In the workshop we will use a watercolour brush lettering pen, (which participants will get to take home) which you can add watercolour to, allowing for soft watery hues, or bold colour.
Explore using words alone, to create an artwork – bring along your favourite quote, poem or phrase, and we will infuse the lettering style to add character and emphasis to the words. Modern Calligraphy sheets will guide participants to connect letters together in a beautiful, easy way, referencing traditional calligraphy styles.
No experience necessary, a very casual, easy workshop which will result in some fun test prints, working towards completed artwork, with the pen for you to take home to keep creating with.
