calendar
Wednesday, 3rd July 2024 - 10:30am to 11:30am

Description

Winter’s here so it’s time to “Let it Go!” & venture “Into the Unknown” with a workshop designed to ignite the imagination & voices of the local Frozen fanbase.

At this singing workshop presented by Andrea Frances Manners, you’ll belt out a medley of songs from Frozen I & II to warm up the cockles of our hearts.

In this once only session at Margaret River HEART – Nala Bardip Mia, singers will participate in voice/body warm ups, experiment with basic singing techniques such as pitch, timing, tone and articulation, and then use these skills to sing some favourite Frozen classics. As always, there will be a performance of the songs for parents/guardians at the end of the session.

Andrea Frances Manners has been teaching singing at her home studio and in Margaret River schools for 13 years after training at WAAPA and under Fisenden Music in Perth. She is also a member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) & attends ANCA (National Choral Assoc.) professional developement. Andrea delights in working with young creatives who love to sing and perform by guiding them in healthy vocal techniques such as breathing, alignment, pitching, articulation and tone, along with how to harmonise and perform with confidence and joy.

Suitable for ages 7-16.
