WA Gourmet Escape program event:
Sunset, Beats & Bites | 6.30pm – 9pm

Tonight, one of Margaret River’s most scenic locations plays host to a beachside party starring great tunes, even better wines and food from one of Perth’s favourite wood-fired restaurants.

Sunset, Beats & Bites is one of the most popular events on the Gourmet Escape program and this year’s edition promises another evening of beachside eating, drinking and dancing, plus plenty of photo opportunities to capture an iconic West Australian sunset.

This year’s guest chefs are all about relaxed, delicious eating. This evening, the crew from Perth’s Tiny’s Restaurant bring their direct, playing-with-fire style down south.

Good drinks and music are essential to any party, so wine aficionado Nick Stock has been enlisted to fill the wine list with his favourite new-wave WA wines while local DJs oversee the tunes.

Your tickets include a generous selection of bite-sized food as well as a glass of wine. Additional drinks, available to purchase. Return coach transfers from Busselton to Gnarabup Beach are also included.

Day 3: Saturday 16 November

WA Gourmet Escape program event:
The Gourmet Village at Leeuwin Estate| 11am – 6pm

Held in the beautiful grounds of one of Margaret River’s truly world-class estates, The Gourmet Village at Leeuwin Estate Winery is a weekend-long celebration of good food, drink and friends.

See this year’s festival stars on the Chef’s Amphitheatre, hosted by comedian and actor, Matt Okine; have your favourite cookbooks signed by world-class chefs and join intimate talks on topical foodie discussions. Sample artisan local products; join hands-on culinary workshops or take part in educational masterclasses including tutored tastings of Margaret River’s finest wines at the Grand Marquee and the Theatre of Drinks.

As always,  your help is needed crowning a champion brewery for the popular Battle of the Breweries presented by Besk, and some of the state’s best restaurants will be cooking and serving signature dishes through the day.

Your package includes general admission tickets and return coach transfers from the Busselton (Broadwater) event coach stop to Leeuwin Estate.

Day 4: Sunday 17 November

After check-out, Busselton town and it’s famous Jetty awaits! Choose from one of the street front cafes for breakfast or head straight to the foreshore for a bite to eat beachside before taking a train trip down the 1.8km Busselton Jetty to the Underwater Observatory.

If you have more time up your sleeve, wander the galleries and heritage sites along Queen Street or take a scenic drive past the Wonnerup Wetlands and the majestic Tuart Forest.

If you’ve still got energy to burn, a flying fox and high ropes adventure at Forest Adventures South West is a must! Just 15min north of Busselton.

She has now held a South West passport for just on 10 years and can be found hiking the coastline, casting a line, biking a trail, camping under the stars, hitting up a festival, tending to her vegie patch (badly) or simply enjoying the company of family and friends with a craft beer or local wine in hand! Did she mention she suffers from FOMO?
