It was a glorious weekend - perfect for a bush walk and bird watching, and 📸 @littlefishesthree was lucky enough to see and photograph this handsome scarlet robin. Black cockatoos, splendid fairy wrens, red winged fairy wrens, emus and spotted pardalotes are just a fraction of the feathered friends you might see in the south west. Bird lovers - what’s been your best sighting so far? 🦉💛 ...

Life’s a blast, jumping off Busselton Jetty. It’s how local kids cool down in summer – dive in, cool off, climb back up and cheer on your buddies. Little kids learn on the small U-shaped jetty just 100 metres west of the main jetty, then progress onto the ‘real deal’ when they’re brave enough for a bigger leap.

Right now, it’s only the most dedicated swimmers in the chilly winter water, but put this on your list for your spring or summer holiday 💦💙

When you think of how far this swell line had to travel, all the way across the Indian Ocean, before unloading in spectacular form on a pristine Margaret River region beach, you really become glad that @ben.harney was there to catch @jethrohed in action! To modify an old saying - "If a wave peels down a world class sand bank groomed by light offshore winds and no one is there to surf it, is it even surfable!?". You tell us! 🌊🏄‍♂️🤙 #WanderOutYonder

Boranup Beach in the Margaret River region is truly where the forest meets the sea. This beautiful scene you see @pixbyjen_ parked up at is by no means the climax of a 4WD adventure though, it's the beginning of kilometres of white sand that you can venture out on to with the hubs in lock and find your own slice of surf paradise. To get here however you'll have to take a track through towering karri trees and forest flora that feel like a scene from Jurassic Park. We really can't decide which part of this adventure is the best, so we'll leave it up to you to #WanderOutYonder and let us know! ☀️🍃💦🙌

You won't be short of photo ops' when you visit Hamelin Bay in the south of the Margaret River region. One must-do shot is found in front of the old timber jetty ruins like @legotravellers here snapped on a family fun day out. Did you know the old jetty was once up to 600 metres long and could service three ships at a time! It's a bit of a different scene these days however, the most common activity these pylons see is from the friendly stingrays who gracefully glide up and down the shoreline. ☀️💦☺️
