Our head chef Hans van Diest, who was trained in Europe, has created his own style of cooking over the years and has received many distinguished awards by highly rated food critics in the Netherlands. His love for traditional presentation, honest flavours and old school cooking techniques, has resulted in a broad menu, with dishes from all over Europe.

Our authentic thin-crust pizza are all topped with our homemade neopolitana sauce, cheese and herbs.

Le Creuset
AL FORNO offers a range of take away meals, cooked in either single serves or in our family dishes, for two or four people. Meals are served in French ceramic Le Creuset cookware, for which you pay a small deposit. Simply return your clean and undamaged dish the next day and we will return your deposit or just trade it in whenever you come in for your next order. This also helps us to reduce our carbon foot print. You can either take home the family dishes, already heated (pre-ordered) and ready to serve, or you can heat them up at home following the instructions.

Trust the Chef
We serve our Trust the chef 3 course dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Bookings only. Lunch and Dinner is B.Y.O. (wines and beer). Corkage fee is $ 2.50 per person.

I am coeliac and this place was perfect. We were on a road trip so I got a takeaway pizza. The manager took my order and explained how they manage cross contamination and made me feel very reassured. The gluten free pizza was the best gluten free pizza base I have ever had. I was in gluten free heaven!

The service here is great! I had creamy garlic vegetable linguini. The serving sizes are very generous. The pizzas looked great too (didn’t try them). They have gluten free pasta and pizza bases available. Lots of food to choose from, either dine in or take away. Tried the chocolate orange ganache tart for dessert it was delightful

We had a mushroom risotto with vegan option, wonderful flavour mix well with cheese. Also we had a margarita and steak pizza, wonderful napoli sauce that they used, bring an amazing taste. Moreover it was delicious even cold ! This is one of my best of best pizza in Perth, love it !
Dropped by to a full house. Managed to take away a garlic prawn pizza and mushroom risotto with grilled chicken. Food was delicious and filled with ingredients. Food was prepared in a quick 20 minutes despite it being a busy period in the kitchen. Thank you. (:
