We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. The units/chalets were very nice, clean and comfortable. Unable to rate the restaurant as it was closed. I think when this property has finished their renovations, including a new indoor pool (current one is a bit tired), then I'd be looking at rating the property 5 overall. Marianne Cross
We've stayed here many times over the years, and will continue to do so. We usually stay with extended family so we like the 3 bedroom/3 bathroom suites for convenience - this time we had two of them! We enjoy the serenity here, and the space between the suites - so even when it is busy you don't feel like you have people on top of you. If ever something gets overlooked, staff are quick to get it sorted out once they've been advised. Spinnakers does a nice breakfast, and I feel the communication between the restaurant and reception was improved this year in regard to the VIP benefits. Thanks again, we'll no doubt see you again soon. Gavin James
Comfortable accommodation for a short stay. Close to the beach and central location for driving to town. The chalet was well equipped so we could self-cater and we had a dedicated parking space close to the patio area. Gus
Stayed in a spa villa and overall enjoyed our 3 nights there. Room was spacious and clean, full size fridge and the bed & linen were both quality. Food from Spinnakers was delicious but it would've been great to have it delivered for room service instead of having to go and pick it up! A couple of downsides kept this from being a 5/5 for us. The "large double bed" was actually two singles pushed together, which was disappointing. The bathroom layout was a bit strange, with the glass shower door hitting the toilet if opened outward far enough and the towels hanging directly next to/above the toilet. Also if you want privacy while using the bathroom, the sliding door setup definitely won't be for you (maybe turn up the TV for your partner..) We also only had 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for our 3 night stay and the bath mat + towels were expected to last 3 nights as well. I'm sure it may work in summer, but in a rainy winter with no heated lighting in the bathroom, neither the mat or towels managed to dry out between our morning and evening showers. No one wants to get out of a warm spa/shower and step onto a soggy bath mat and use cold wet towels to dry off! Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and besides the few little annoyances it was a nice experience for a reasonable price. Matthew Fryer
