The original Manor house, adjacent to the new Motel section, was built in 1896. The Manor and Motel was renovated in November 2016. Experience a bit of history and let the team take care of you.
Gina and Jonathan are always ready for a chat about the area and to offer some good advice.
The Heritage-listed building has been recently renovated after being originally built in 1896. The original name “Ithaca” has been kept from the original owner Frank Backhouse who became Mayor of town back then.
There are two separate types of accommodation at Busselton Ithaca motel ranging from 3 to 4-star. The Manor building has the quaint old-world charm with Axminster carpet and a high ornate ceiling.
Close to the manor building is the newly renovated Motel where there are 12 beach style motel units. All with ensuite bathrooms and most have a fully equipped kitchenette. They are positioned around a grassed outdoor area with lots of outdoor seating.
The location is excellent as it is about a 10-minute walk to the iconic Busselton Jetty from the also heritage-listed magnificent Moreton Bay fig tree in Ithaca's grounds. The centre of Busselton town, Queen Street, is about the same distance offering restaurants, cafes, pubs, supermarkets and much more. The still waters of Geographe Bay are only a 5-minute walk. The superb beaches and wineries of the Margaret River region are all within an hour’s drive from the front gate.
Busselton Ithaca is family-friendly and offers some activities, games, books and toys in the large common room.
Late check-in is available. Available after 23:00 on request.
Gina and Jono are looking forward to making you feel at home.
