Located on its own vineyard in the magnificent Margaret River wine region, Cape Lodge is likened to staying at a private country estate, with all the trappings and facilities of a world class boutique hotel.

Cape Lodge attracts those who are seeking a private, stylish and sophisticated retreat, and lovers of outstanding food and wine. Sitting on 40 acres of manicured parkland and lakes, the hotel has its own 8 acre vineyard producing fine Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz exclusively for guests. Cape Lodge's neighbours include the great wineries of Vasse Felix, Moss Wood, Pierro and Cullen.

The Hotel has 22 romantically secluded rooms and a magnificent 5 bedroom private luxury Residence. The elegant Cape Lodge Restaurant overlooks the beautiful main lake and offers a menu that changes daily to reflect the best of the seasons and the region's fabulous local producers. The superbly crafted dishes can be matched with an excellent selection of West Australian wine, including back vintages from some of the region's great wine estates.

Cape Lodge is also known for its Cooking School - perfect for culinary enthusiasts and run by Chef Tony Howell. These ever-popular classes run regularly on Saturdays, and private hands-on cooking experiences can also be booked for groups of friends or family, or for corporate retreats.

We've stayed for 4 years now, and love it. The grounds, rooms, service, and above all, the food, is simply gorgeous and of an exceptional standard. Thank you for always looking after us. Sarah Hughan
Cape Lodge Country estate is beautifully appointment with the rooms over looking the river from the balcony. Very quit and peace location in Margaret River The beer and soft drinks and snack are complementary. Great breakfast menu with the restaurant having views of the river. Craig Macallister
This place used to be 5 stars but not at the moment. Its currently changing ownership which is probably the main cause but the food and the general service just isn't what it used to be. Also, the locals simply do not go to this place for a meal. This is an obvious sign there are problems. Rob Fellows
Wow! The staff here are incredible. It is so calm and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious, good coffee and staff who remember your coffee order from the day prior! Love the personal touches. It has beautiful facilities, the dinner at the restaurant is simply wonderful. I would highly recommend stay and/or eating here! Jacqueline Shergold
