We visit Cullen each time we come to WA to try wines we drink in the U.K. and get a bottle or two of their stunning Diana Madeline. The winery is beautiful with their wines being even better.Lunch is definitely worth stopping for - we usually allow two hours. Food is beautifully simple but with outstanding presentation and taste.Diana Madeline is the best wine we have tasted from the Margaret River area!

The Cullen's gets a 4 star simply because of their conservation efforts and their sustainability and biodynamic initiatives. I thought there was a district flavour of their wines in a good way.Unfortunately, however, their 2 hatted restaurant failed to live up to the hype. It felt as though the chef generally knew what he was doing but temporarily got distracted. Organic or not, some of the flavour combinations were quite adventurous, for the lack of a better word.Overall, there are still enough reasons to pay these guys a visit whilst in Margaret River.
