Situated only ten minutes from Dunsborough, you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle in this relaxed native setting. Sit back, relax and enjoy a lazy breakfast, brunch or lunch while enjoying a drop from Goanna's local wine list. Or simply stop by for a locally roasted coffee and homemade sweet treat. With options to be seated indoors or out, you are welcome to wander into the bush out the back and enjoy the natural playground, or stroll through the sculpture walk amongst seasonal wildflowers and native surrounds.
Nestled in native bushland, Goanna is quirky, unpretentious and relaxed. The ever-changing seasonal menu is designed to showcase the very best and freshest ingredients on offer in the region.

Owner and head chef, Duncan Timmons, is passionate about creating simple, interesting and honest dishes, which are reflected in the seasonal menus. He works closely alongside a long list of local producers and suppliers to ensure that every menu item showcases the freshest, best quality and locally sourced ingredients.

Everyone is welcome at Goanna, and together, Duncan and his wife and co-owner Ali, love to nourish their guests on their way to explore the beautiful offerings of the south west on their doorstep.

Little ones can enjoy their own adventure in the children's playground with adjacent cafe seating, and well behaved doggos on lead are also welcome in our outdoor areas.

Goanna has a strong band of local customers, so bookings are always recommended to avoid disappointment.

Great Breakfast Nestled in a bush setting off the beaten track, but only minutes from Dunsborough, a must for breaky or lunch. Food is delicious and great staff. Family and fur baby friendly. Both indoor and outdoor options, back deck is a nice spot, as is the undercover picnic table area for families with kids and pets. It’s extremely popular, so strongly recommend you book ahead.

We stumbled upon this café during our roadtrip through Margaret River. The atmosphere is great and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great and the portions are very generous. Don't forget to try a slice of rocky road!

Chilled out cafe with fresh food. We had the Spanish breakfast with woodfired toast and the Smoked bbq breakfast, both were very tasty.

We had the prawn fried rice, gnocchi and soba noodle salad for lunch. The food was very flavourful. It was a nice quiet spot and there were plenty of seats.
