More information

The Old Settlement precinct offers the visitor a glimpse into the past lives of the farming community of Margaret River in the early 1920's. The buildings are full of artifacts and the yard has spring carts and machinery equipment scattered around an old cow milk shed and Dairy. Also, enjoy a coffee along the river at the cafe close by. Or stroll along the many footpaths following the Margaret River to the Weir built in the 1970's by the Margaret River Rotary Club. We welcome School and Community Groups, from all ages to the Old Settlement. We give the children some washing experience on the washboards and an opportunity to bake scones, and cook the in the Metters stove with ample time to do some school lessons in the School room. For adult groups we offer the same services with lots of laughs!!
