Adventurers to its depths will marvel at the caves' stunning stalactites, stalagmites, helictites and beautifully coloured shawls in a self-guided experience. One of the more spectacular caves on "Caves Road". We visited three of the four major cave complexes. The presentation and educational value were exceptional. Staff were very well informed and helpful. However we underestimated how easy viewing the cave would be. This is a true cave - complete with very narrow, steep passages, uneven narrow stairs and a number of two way bottle necks squeezing by other visitors. Did I feel safe - yes. In my opinion a number of the safety railings are too low to comfortably utilise. I am 190 cm tall and had to stoop significantly to grasp the guide rails in a number of tight areas. Overall I am very glad we went. Pictures of some of the passages/steps could be very helpful for visitors to decide whether this undertaking was appropriate for them.

My 7yo and I had a great time exploring Ngilgi Cave and surrounds today. Fascinating "decorations" (formations in the cave - stalactites etc). All staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The boardwalk before and after was also interesting and informative. And the little nature playground was a nice finish

Amazing and beautiful, don’t think twice, just go. My kids were like “we’ve been to caves before, boring” and then after going they were so appreciative, hadn’t experienced such amazing cave formations, the lighting show really brought out the uniqueness of this cave

Im not the fittest person around and was puffing by the time we did the complete tour. But would not have missed seeing these amazing caves. The rangers were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Dont bypass this experience if you are in the area
