The place is wonderful. Nice view, specially the lake, and good location. Love nature and the birds. Our chalet is perfect for our vacation, very comfortable. The facilities is good, basic but all you need is there. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The price for the chalet is reasonable price, it worth the money. Good for family holiday. There are a lot of activities to do with the kids. I would love to come back here next time.
Well where do we start! If you have never been to this place then you have no idea what your missing out on. This has to be one of the nicest places to stay down south. So peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was divine. Comfortable rooms and bed's. Very clean and tidy. Thankyou for your great and friendly service. Will definitely be returning again very soon. Let my photos speak for themselves.
Love this place, its slowly being updated. Great location and walks. They have removed the kitchens from the lakeside rooms, but they do supply a fridge and kettle. It would be good to have a little hot plate and some other utensils so you can make your breakfast and even a nibble plate. The restaurant is ok, service is great, we had Lim serving us and she was lovely to talk to. The breakfast was poor, think FIFO crib hut breakfast style, which is a shame. The dinner was nice, we had the steak and bruschetta, not 5* but decent.
Accommodation, even though on the pricey side was beautiful. The queen room on the lake was stunning, a view hard to beat and the room was perfect for what we needed. The restaurant let it down. The view again from the restaurant was stunning and the service was very good but the food and pricing was a big disappointment. We only ate there since the next convenient restaurant was a 20 minute drive into town, the menu had great choices but my £15 marron starter was half a marron, only half full of flesh, so the size of my little finger (2 bites) and an insanely spicy salad underneath! The main was the best course, but not perfect and the sticky date pudding had a teaspoon worth of sauce on, again, a disappointment for a £150 bill. I must mention though, the Reception staff were very kind and welcoming, top notch service. I will be back to stay but maybe not to eat!
