Informal tours of art studio and gallery.
Our mudbrick buildings and colourful cottage gardens are also of much interest to visitors.
More informationSwallows Welcome is the art studio of local water-colour artist Patricia Negus. Browse through the colourful gardens or admire Patricia's Artwork. You are welcome to view Patricias 102 watercolour paintings of more than 500 South-West Wildflowers on permanent exhibition in the mudbrick Chapel of Flowers. The leadlight windows designed by Dawn Klok and porch mosiac by local artist Jenny Hunt are also extremely beautiful.
Beautiful botanical paintings captured in a chapel, built by the artist’s late husband. The chapel is remarkable and has a special purpose which is stated in the epitaph in the photo. I wish I got to meet Pat. I heard wonderful things, but I didn’t ring the bell hard enough.
Blown away that Tim and Patricia built every brick in this place. Lovely chapel and Bush setting. And such beautiful timber benches, clocks and furniture.
Great hidden location. Perfect for a wedding or simply a visit. Hand made bricks with owner on site to tour the chappel and studios.
A little off the beaten track but worth the distance. Artist does very fine work replicating many wildflowers on fine French art paper. Chapel is one building adorned with her craft, she also tinkers with woodcraft my favourite being the owls in a mirror.
Been there once and I bought lovely pictures. The lady is so lovely and amazing.
