After being a local in Busselton, you get to know the places to go and not to go. You also know when a place has had a change in management. The new management and staff at The Ship Inn are an absolute asset, and make it an amazing place to eat and drink again for any occasion. The food was beautiful, tasty, and well priced. Served fast, hot and fresh. The selection of drinks available make it easy to accompany any meal with the perfect match. With an outdoor area, smoking area/non smoking too of course, and inside areas to eat or just socialise, not forgetting the playground, perfect for the little ones, and is even fenced off. The Ship suits everyone, from families to couples, formal evenings to after work drinks. The staff are what makes The Ship stand out in a town full of pubs and restaurants. Friendly, efficient, fast and knowledgeable. They go to extra lengths to make their patrons happy and wanting to return, which is rare these days. I highly recommend The Ship for almost any occasion, good value for money, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, it's all that you could want in the one place. Whether you're a tourist or a local, you'll be warmly welcomed and leave knowing you'll be back. Shout out to Dan, Mel and Heavenly, and all the staff, you're doing a great job guys, thank you. Went here last night with a big group and the staff were really friendly and helpful accommodating us even though it was busy. They have a big menu with 2 vegan options. The veggie noodles and the plant based burger. Both were tasty. There's an outdoor play area for the kids but the safety gate was broken. Better lighting outside would be good. Lots of parking nearby. Catherine F

Had the pork belly and was blown away. The sauce had so much flavour it was like the pork belly was a condiment. The best part was the pomegranate salad with finely cut nuts that I couldn't quite identify. The nuts were fresh and course granting the salad with great texture, elevating and complimenting the whole dish. I tried my partner's salmon and it was exceptional. Been in Perth a year, dined in top class establishments and this was the best meal I've had yet. Had a chat to the staff and find out that the chef is new (3 days only). Get in while you can before the chef is sniped by a Michelin rated restaurant. Sam Kz

This is a popular place to eat, drink and connect with friends and family. Great indoor and outdoor options with a kids play area. We had always gone past and never tried it but we were blown away by the food. We had super fresh food that ticked our boxes for size, taste and freshness. We want to try other dishes out. Service was oddly absent and when we did get service the poor kid was trying his best but clearly nervous. The other person was annoyed and not friendly. But grudgingly helped the kid. Table service was much better. We would still come back and hopefully there will be better service. M K
