Once in a while you chance upon the perfect holiday destination. The chance to relax in serene, peaceful surroundings... The chance to breathe in the beauty of natural bushland and the magnificent Margaret River winter waterfalls... The chance to luxuriate in a superbly finished and very private cottage.

Waterfall Cottages is a private retreat located on the banks of the Margaret River in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region. Designed by award winning architect Brian Klopper, each cottage features signature stained glass windows as well as wall to ceiling glass around two sides to take advantage of the stunning views. Other features include high cathedral lime-washed ceilings, steel frames, central bush poles and large verandas with suspended roofs. Each cottage is fully self-contained with private parking and all the added extras to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

The cottages are set amidst 15 acres of magnificent landscaped gardens facing the beautiful Yalgardup Falls and the property has been featured in the Open Garden Scheme. The property is surrounded by the natural forest of the River Valley, with our own private lake fed by Yalgardup Creek, and there are extensive lawn areas ideally suited to group activities, as well as secluded areas for bird watching, picnics etc.

Guests can also feed the ducks, watch the kangaroos, or go night spotting for possums in the Peppermint and Karri trees.

The 11 cottages have been very carefully situated around the property to create the feeling of seclusion in your own private estate and to maximize the water and garden views. Our office is around the corner in the family home, so as not to intrude on the tranquility of the area and can be accessed via a picturesque stroll over the “Monet” Bridge, or by road.

Beautiful, peaceful, private. very clean and well maintained but surrounded by natural bushland. Well worth the stay. Lee Watkins
Stunning gardens and location, views to die for, really private. Bed was lovely and comfy. But could do with a bit of a spruce up, things were a bit worn out, like the rugs for example, we're quite old and dirty. Could provide more towels. Mel
Really good setup within the cottages, tucked away from the busy roads and a Lovely backdrop. Emma Montgomery
Nice grounds, decent accomdation. DO NOT stay in unit 4, ridiculous windows above the bed let the light in so you are wakened at sunrise Randy Van Poecke
