More informationBill Meiklejohn's clay work ranges from the functional to the fantastic. There are coffee cups, plates, bowls, teapots, platters, casserole dishes, antipasto bowls, vases and many more. Many of these are also hand-worked to create something totally original, such as his casserole dish with an octopus curled around and over it. There are also handcrafted pieces, which are completely unique to Bill, such as his cornucopia pots cleverly thrown then cut and re-worked to make that extraordinary spiral form.
Bill says "I work from my home studio in Wilyabrup called Wilyabrup Dreaming. Most of my creative work draws on the ocean for inspiration. I guess this is a result of being a keen surfer and diver for much of my life".
Bill takes orders for special one-off pieces or to help you continue adding to your collection of Wilyabrup Dreaming.
