Wine & Spirits Magazine, a leading American wine magazine has listed Woodlands Wines along with two other Australian wineries in their Top 100 wineries of 2021. Woodlands 2018 Wilyabrup Valley Chardonnay was also included in the Top 100 Best Buys of 2021. As one of the first five vineyards of Margaret River, Woodlands Wines is excited to be included in the Top 100 wineries of 2021 and would like to thank its supporters around the world.

Born from a love of Bordeaux Cabernet blends, and the dream to create a stellar red wine of their own, David and Heather Watson established Woodlands in 1973 within the Wilyabrup Valley. Woodlands vineyard now covers 10 hectares, and is certified organic. Their wines are also vegan-friendly.
Woodlands is one of Margaret River's first six vineyards planted.

Woodlands produces wine from their two vineyards, both in the Wilyabrup Valley of Margaret River. The original Woodlands vineyard is located on Caves Road, while the Woodlands Brook Vineyard is located two kilometres to the northeast. Their vineyards are dry-farmed, and wines are grown and made by organic practices from the same vineyard each year.

The range of wines includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot blends, and Chardonnay. Woodlands Wines are renowned for balance, drinkability and age-ability. Their Cabernet Sauvignon especially has only been produced from the same vines since Woodlands began.

Woodlands' newly renovated cellar door offers generous and unique wine tasting experiences. You can visit and taste their current ranges and as well as museum releases. There are also options to enjoy cheese and grazing boards full of local and international products during the tasting.

Absolutely Fabulous!! Claire and the Team will provide with full details of each wine including the area it came from and the barreling process etc. very interesting. I highly recommend the 'grazing platter' with your wine tasting. It is simply amazingly delicious. These wines aren't like the others - You won't be disappointed.

This wine tasting was a standout experience from all the others we have done in the area. Free sit down hosted tasting, our very knowledgeable host Diego guided us through side by side comparisons of their excellent list of wines. Do take up the suggested cheese board - stunning array of local and international cheeses to choose from (included goat/sheep/buffalo) with excellent accompaniments really added further to the already excellent experience - the wines themselves are not to be missed also!

A delightful wine and cheese tasting experience. Hosted by the very informative and lovely Nicola we tasted several red wines and enjoyed a perfectly curated cheese platter. Great place to stop and enjoy this lovely part of The Margaret River.
