I've been getting custom surfboards from Yahoo for the last eight years, and surfed them all around the world. Every single one of them has been a 'magic stick'. My most recent board, the Shampoo Blue, blew my mind, not just with the quality of the board but with the shaping journey to get there. I took two boards into Zak and explained what was going on with my surfing, how I felt I was changing and that I wanted my board to reflect that. We then went surfing together, and Zak could see if what I was talking about was actually reality and he worked through the dimensions with me to get the rocker, curves, and volume right. I took it to Indonesia and surfed for six weeks straight on paradise waves in Sumatra. It did exactly what I dreamed the board would do, and even got me into a few shampoos... Thanks Z Shapes!
