Here at YCC we aim to make regionally distinctive cheeses that speak of a time and a place. We believe that great cheese begins in the paddock and hence we only source certified organic milk from a small selection of local dairies.
We encourage variation in our cheeses throughout the seasons because at the end of the day, cheese is a living breathing thing and we should celebrate its diversity of flavour and texture!
All of our cheeses are hand crafted and packaged onsite at our Jindong Cheesery, ensuring they are true to the word artisan.
The cheeses were delicious and it was lovely to see that there was goat's milk cheeses as well. We understand that there was a price for the tasting and were happy to pay as the lady was lovely but when we purchased $50+ of cheese it would have been nice to have that fee waved. However this would not stop me from coming back to purchase these delicious cheeses we just won't be tasting again.
Fantastic find! What a beautiful setting. I ventured here late afternoon and received a super friendly welcome by the staff. The lovely Michelle and Dani set me up with a red wine and cheese tasting overlooking the stunning lake vista. Both wine and cheese range amazing!! I can highly recommend this experience and will be sending all my guests out to enjoy.
My partner and I had a lovely time sitting in the sun tasting wine and cheese in the garden. The staff were very friendly. We were happy with the $10/person price to taste 4 cheeses and matched wine with reasonable serves.
Had a wonderful time here in relation to the cheese, wine and service. For the cheese, we sampled 5 or 6 different types and were sufficiently happy to walk away with a delicious ash camembert. The wine tasting was great, honest and relaxed (including the story behind the 'Goon Tycoon' label). Provided a number of other recommendations for the region which have been singularly excellent. The beautiful setting was a bonus. Great experience, highly recommend.
