Photographs just don’t do the justice deserved by Admiral Stirling. Guests who made the discovery for themselves and who return season after season possess the secret of its real charms.
Nestled amongst the trees on a lane in Margaret River, Admiral Stirling offers comfortable, value for money accommodation with the convenience of two minutes’ walk to the town’s shopping, gallery and eatery district. Just on the other side of the lane are two of Margaret River’s best and most popular restaurants and, even closer to home, Admiral Stirling has admirable on-site kitchen and undercover barbecue facilities available to all guests.
Admiral Stirling has a range of accommodation, suitable for couples, travelling companions, families and groups, including self-contained accommodation with full kitchen facilities, and rooms with tea- and coffee-making facilities. All accommodations at Admiral Stirling have private bathroom facilities, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, electric blankets, and complimentary wi-fi availability.
Couples particularly love the atmosphere and location. Travelling companions really appreciate the opportunity for twin-share accommodation providing a single room each with a bathroom between. Families with children seem to have particular excitement about Admiral Stirling, for the discoveries to be made on the grounds, of searchlights and portholes and ship’s wheel, fish pond and visiting birds, and big boat-shaped seed pods from the Kudjong tree, whilst parents and grandparents are very happy for a holiday where they can be catered for equally, together, and at reasonable price. Groups really appreciate having private rooms with the great shared facilities on-site, close to town attractions and in the heart of the region.
Admiral Stirling is comprised of two buildings, both of Jarrah weatherboard and iron. The place is a tribute to Western Australia, featuring Jarrah and other local hardwood timber cabinetry and furnishings throughout, as well as other beautiful and unusual feature placements of leadlight windows and skylights, and historical pieces such as backbenches and writing desks from the Western Australian Legislative Council. The loving craftsmanship, the wonderful difference of the place, and the individual warmth and character are often remarked upon.
Come, let Admiral Stirling allow your accommodation also to be a talking point in your Margaret River experience. A friendly welcome will greet you at reception, located adjacent across the street, at Adamsons Riverside Accommodation.
