Cape Rendezvous

Star 5.0 (8 Google reviews)

Set on five acres of natural bushland and gardens, Cape Rendezvous offers secluded rustic luxury for up to 8 guests. This is an exclusive retreat with an eclectic and luxurious interior design style. The house is built from rammed earth; keeping it naturally cool in summer; with a vast open plan second floor, and wraparound veranda upstairs. The owners have beautifully renovated the house, with thoughtful touches to offer many different spaces for both quiet relaxation, and gathering together. If you want a holiday home that makes you say "wow" when you enter, then Cape Rendezvous is for you.
Set in the bush but close to town
The nearby towns of Busselton (5 mins) Dunsborough (25 mins) and Margaret River (just 30 mins away) offer all the restaurants, wineries and beaches you could dream of...

Beautiful Styling
Expect more than the basics here! The owners have taken great care over the furnishings and style of this luxurious retreat, crafting pieces with beautiful fabrics and art. There are many antique and vintage pieces of furniture; often re-upholstered or re-purposed to bring them back to life. You'll find chandeliers, restored jarrah French doors, arch windows, chaise lounges, leather Chesterfield sofas, and quirky decorative pieces throughout. The newly installed kitchen is a delight, with a huge central island and bifold windows opening to the breakfast bar outside. Fully equipped with all you might need, (and more!) there is also an eclectic mix of vintage bowls, glasses and ornaments to enjoy.

Ideal for couples, families or groups
As a couple, the place has a romantic, secluded feel. Enjoy spending the day relaxing, sitting on the balcony upstairs, grateful for the open space and time away. You'll have the whole house and gardens to yourself. For families and groups, the house has the rooms and space to host more people. The beautiful open plan living area upstairs, with vaulted ceiling, and substantial kitchen island, allows people to gather and share time together, whilst, elsewhere, there are many quiet spaces to retreat to.
Some of the practices utilised to protect the environment include; solar power, off grid water supply, refillable dispenser bottles, recycled waste, reused vintage furnishings and a commitment to keep the bushland as close to its natural state as possible.  There are many beautiful native plants and animals to see here, from possums in the Peppermint trees at night, to a bounty of stunning birdlife during the day.

Extras (like delicious coffee :-)
A separate building houses the laundry and huge Italian coffee machine.  The owners also own a café in South Perth, La Patisserie, so coffee is their business. (no coffee pods here!) Their own blend of roasted coffee is supplied in a professional grinder, and a few options provided for making your perfect morning brew.  Also supplied are artisan teas, hot chocolate and kitchen basics like olive oil, salt and pepper. Guests can help themselves to the herbs and fruit in the garden.

This is a unique property with significant "wow" factor.
If you want to stay somewhere that offers relaxation in beautiful surroundings with a stylish luxurious décor, then Cape Rendezvous is for you.

Amazing place for an escape with friends or family. Beautifully appointed big country manor with lots of space to read a book, relax and enjoy the view from inside or outside. Comfy beds too!! Perfect location surrounded by bush, close to Busselton and short drive to Dunsborough and Yallingup. Loved every minute of our stay - we didn’t want to leave!!

An amazing stay! The house was absolutely beautiful, all of the furnishings and decorations were so tasteful, while still having an aussie bush aesthetic! The house was absolutely massive giving lots of room to enjoy. The surrounding gardens and bush were tranquil and lovely; there were kangaroos and we even saw some possums! The kitchen was decked out, including complimentary coffee beans and a proper coffee machine. It made waking up in the mornings extra special. Despite how private and intimate the location feels it's still close to all the south west attractions. Overall an unforgettable stay! We can't wait to come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Rendezvous, we loved the feeling of it being in a remote bush location, yet still a short drive to Busselton. Sara was great to deal with, from the hand written welcome notes to the delicious coffee options (we turned into quite the baristas over the weekend). The place was spotless on arrival, and we loved the style of recent renovations, we could not keep the smiles off our faces when we got there. We will definitely be back for a return visit with the family to make the most out of all that space!
