If you are looking for a place to unplugged from the busy-ness of life, this is the place for you! Love the easy check in, love waking up to natural lights coming in through the windows. Really enjoyed our stay. Service was almost instant with great communication, not too far from Margaret River Central. Bath tub had a water jet! As expected we didn’t have any reception and Wi-Fi was unreliable due to the location, we could also hear our neighbours talk but other than that it was a beautiful experience. Thank you!!

We stayed at Gilgara Retreat for 3 nights, and we absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it is! It feels so hidden away, but is only actually maybe 10 minutes from the town center which is so handy. The owners/managers were super nice and said they would be there if we needed anything. The kitchen was so well equipped which was refreshing, as sometimes you can't really cook at places like this. The only down-side was the spa bath was broken and the jetters wouldnt work, but that's not a massive issue.

Fabulous spot. Quiet and tranquil, easy access to Margaret River and all the surrounds.

I will be honest. We have been here before, but previously stayed in the homestead. Last week we stayed in the garden apartments. The presentation was clean and the peace and quiet alongside the outlook was great. The grounds are well presented with grass slopes and a pond with ducks and other wildlife scampering around. If you want quiet and peace here is the spot. The apartment… clean, tidy and comfortable. Good bed and pillows. Even with the heater system running it was a bit cool for my wife. The apartment was a bit tired and a few things were broken or in need of maintenance. Not deal busting stuff but noticed. Had to drop the rating a bit as a result if my observations and experience this time Did not detract from our level of relaxation and how much we enjoyed our overall visit.
