Feel the triumph when you have swum 3.6 kilometres around the southern hemisphere’s longest timber jetty.

Or start steady and join a two or four person relay team. The iconic Busselton Jetty Swim of over 2,000 competitors takes place each February during a two day beach festival. To get started check out this year’s event, training tips and look out for registrations which go live on the 1st of October.

Fit in some fitness and fun at the South West Mudfest.

If your New Year goal was fun and fitness this feel good mud run, which takes place at Bootleg Brewery on 2 July is for you. Drenched in sweat, mud, fun and camaraderie the 12 kilometre long course known as The Dirty Dozen will test your fitness and endurance as well as skill while the shorter fun 5km course is perfect for those who just want to get covered in mud! When you’ve finished, relish in your achievements with a celebratory Bootleg Burger and drink.

Complete an epic adventure and make 2016 the year to walk the incredible Cape to Cape Track!

Listed in the Top 10 Scenic Walks by Australian Geographic, this 135 kilometre coastal track is a 5-8 day walk but it can be easily broken up into smaller sections of short, half-day or full-day walks. Self-guided is easy with the journey enhanced with a detailed guide book available from the visitor centre. Or splash out and take a guided or all-inclusive luxury trek and your experience will soar to a new level.
