1. Swing Into The Barrel | Friday, 16 July 2021

If blazing fires and mulled wine don’t scream winter, we don’t know what does! A Cabin Fever event taking place at much-loved Swings & Roundabouts promises both those things, and more. A selection of wood-fired canapes will tantalise the taste buds, plus marshmallows will be on hand to roast over the open fire before busting out some moves on the dance floor. All matched with their premium wine range, this is quintessential winter in Margaret River.

2. Cheese Fondue by the Fire at Howard Park Wines | 17 & 18 July 2021

The artisan cheese made in the Margaret River Region is almost enough to visit alone. Add winter vibes, a burning fire in the gorgeous Howard Park Cellar Door, and melting, delicious cheese fondue into the mix and you’ve got a full-blown reason to lock in your trip right now. This is Margaret River at its most relaxed: grab a spot on the couch or perch up on a wine barrel by the roaring fireplace for an afternoon of lingering over a delicious fondue of Cambray Sheep Cheese, made in Nannup (it’s a local favourite!).

3. Cheese Toastie Battle at The Common | Sunday, 18 July 2021

Forget gourmet. Winter is about cheese on toast done right. Watch the best chefs in town go head to head in an epic cheese toastie battle hosted by The Common. Their mission? Make the best dang cheese toastie on the west coast. Oh, and you’ll obviously get to sample them. Be a part of the action, and wash down that melted cheese with a pint or glass of wine on the house!

4. Winter Wine Walk | Friday, 23 July 2021

If you’re the indecisive sort who finds it hard to choose just one place to eat, the Winter Wine Walk is right up your alley. The incredible local guide will take you to some of the best spots around Margaret River township, and you will enjoy a different wine and wintery dish at each of the four locations. Each venue is an easy stroll, and between courses you will hear stories of the history of the area and its famous food and wine scene.

5. Rise and Dine at Xanadu | Sunday, 25 July 2021

More of a morning person? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered with the popular Xanadu brunch. There will be no boring plain eggs on toast in sight here, with Head Chef Mel Kokoti working her magic on an epic menu paired with the delicious wines they are famous for. If you’re not so keen for wine with breakfast select the food only option, either way you are guaranteed a delectable start to the day!
