What’s Happening in December?

What's On In December

From Ironman to Christmas feasts, see out the decade Margaret River style.

It’s finally here – the end of an era. Really, it is. Next month we are into a new decade, it’s the 20’s, but thankfully this time round there’s Margaret River wine to toast with, instead of prohibition moonshine.

Watch some of the country’s fittest compete at Busselton’s own Ironman competition, or for the more musically inclined, enjoy classical concerts through to surf bands and a special visit from Aussie living legends, the Hoodoo Gurus.

First up is Christmas Carols in the Park at Margaret River’s Reuther Park on the 6th of December. If you are at the southern tip of the capes, Carols at the Colourpatch is your pick in Augusta on the 13th of December. Up towards Busselton? Then you’ll be set for carols with a stunner of a backdrop on the 14th of December in the amphitheatre at Carols by the Jetty. Carols in the Park takes place in Dunsborough on the 19th of December at Lions Park.

It’s a throw back to the 1920’s to ring in the next decade of the 20’s at Morries Café De Flore.
