What's happening in May ?
The last days of autumn and events aplenty
If you’ve not yet visited the Margaret River region in May, then now is your chance. It’s the ideal time to take advantage of everything that is on offer: mild autumn days, golden vineyard hues and one of the most popular months for events!
Whether you prefer to sit on the side-lines, get stuck into the action, or settle somewhere in between, there is an option for all. Fitness fiends can get a workout with the Margaret River Ultra Marathon or the Busselton Festival of Triathlon, and of course there is the annual event that helps put the spectacular coastline on the global stage: The Margaret River Pro.
Don’t worry, the Arts haven’t been left behind in the action. May also sees the Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival kick off, with a packed schedule of events and workshops. Tickets are a hot commodity, so if you haven’t snapped yours up yet so be sure to, as they sell out fast.
