Augusta Golf Club is ranked the NUMBER ONE sand greens course in Western Australia. Visitors are invited to play on this striking 18-hole golf course set high on the Leeuwin Ridge. From its elevated vantage point, the course carves its way through a forest of peppermint and grass trees that clear in places to reveal sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and the Blackwood River Valley.
Augusta Golf Club was ranked Number One sand greens golf course by top100golfcoursescom; in fact, top100golfcoursescom rank Augusta GC as the 35th best Western Australian course overall.
This par 72 course is 5837 metres long for men and the women's course is 5034 metres.
Augusta GC is a natural course--there has been minimal human re-profiling, and the swales and hillocks of the original landscape remain much as they were. With our good rainfall, our winter fairways are lush, and the course remains green through all but the driest of seasons.
They welcome visitors. A casual game costs $20 for 18 holes, or $10 for 9 holes. Clubs and buggies may be hired at Xtreme Sports in town. Mobile carts may be hired for $40 at the clubhouse.
