Carbanup Reserve

Wildflower lovers - you'll want to stop here! Driving along Bussell Highway from Busselton towards Margaret River, you will find this reserve on the corner of the highway and Wildwood Road.
Carbunup Reserve in wildflower season (around September), is home to a huge array of orchids. In particular, look for the Carbunup king spider, rattle beak, enamel, coastal, flying duck, king-in-his-carriage, donkey, and jug orchids. Other wildflowers include kangaroo paw, hibbertia (buttercups) and blue grass lily.
