Cheesemaking - Come spend the day in the rural setting of Cowaramup on Jardin Estate's beautiful farm learning the art of homemade cheesemaking and enjoying a two course lunch which showcases the cheese/s of the day.
Lunches are served on their decking overlooking the farm's vista in Cowaramup's dairy district (weather permitting) and are prepared by a local cook. Margaret River's Frazer Woods sparkling wine or soft drink are served.
Flavoured (Compound) Butter making - NEW COURSE ADDED
In Margaret River's beautiful dairy country, Jardin Estate has been making artisanal butter and cheese since 2017. Having produced award-winning and highly sought-after products they decided to establish a Cheese School in Cowaramup.
Amongst Jardin Estate's picturesque small farm, their commercial kitchen has been reconfigured and it is there where cheese enthusiasts can learn the ancient art of cheese making. Their cheese courses will show you how to successfully make popular cheeses like feta, haloumi, ricotta, Camembert, Boursin, cheddar and many more at home.

Flavoured (Compound) Butter Course
Join Jardin Estate’s award winning butter maker Nick Power for a morning making some of his iconic flavoured (compound) butters and more, just in time for Christmas.
Love Jardin’s Cranberry, pistachio and orange and/or chocolate butters? Then come get the recipes so that you can enjoy these not only for Christmas but year round.
Nick will take you through the butter making process and then provide valuable insight into the making of various flavoured (compound) butters.
Students will be hands on in removing that pesky buttermilk , making up their own flavoured (compound) butters to taste and take home.
This course also allows students to taste all the butters produced on the day on a variety of scrumptious homemade breads and pastries.
