With its pristine maritime environment and ancient, gravely-loam soils, Coward & Black Vineyards has more than 16 acres of established plantings, just minutes from some of Margaret River’s finest producers – including Vasse Felix, Howard Park and Cullen’s.
Coward & Black’s stunning rammed-earth cellar door facility is set inside the region’s most innovative tasting centre - Margaret River Providore – where it shares centre stage with organic vegetable gardens and olive groves, an amazing cafe, take-home foods and modern home-wares.
Free wine tastings are available seven days a week from 9-5 and visitors can enjoy a glass of wine with lunch or simply sit and enjoy the natural bushland and vineyard views.
As a boutique winery, Coward & Black’s commitment is first and foremost to fruit quality and traditional wine-making, producing premium quality wines with complex varietal characters.
The varieties grown on the expansive rural property include Cabernet, Shiraz, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Semillon.
