ORGANIC VINEYARD by appointment. Learn about organics, winemaking, see the process and meet the makers. Peek behind the scenes into their winery, as well as their chickens, maremma dogs, organic vegie patch, fruit trees, winery cats and marron filled dam, all among their certified organic vines.
Devaleski is a very small authentic vineyard that allows for the vagaries of Mother Nature and the idiosyncrasies of the harvest to come through in the wine. The vines were planted in 1997 and became to love in 2015. They do everything themselves - vineyard to blending to bottling.

The Khania (hens) roam freely through the vineyard to peck at the bugs and keep them in check. The Rikono (dogs), Maremma breed, look after the Khania as well as the wild papin (ducks) that wander around and never leave. The dogs bond with the hens and can sometimes be seen carrying them around the vineyard with the tail in their mouth then sitting down and giving them a cuddle.

Everything they do is under their philosophy of minimal intervention and small footprints. The vines and the winery are certified organic, plus they use organic methods across everything they do. The vegetable garden and fruit trees are treated with the same tender loving care as the vines.
